Let's face it, we've probably seen a few Karens in Singapore that have made themselves known for their terrible behaviour. But have you ever wondered what it feels like to be at the receiving end of all their insults? Well, your dreams (or shall I say nightmares) might just come true because the ever-so-popular Karen's Diner that went viral on TikTok may just be making a pitstop in Singapore.

Originally from Sydney, the retro-themed restaurant is best known for its service. Think — unholy words, cursing, and using explicit gestures. It's truly an experience that's definitely not for those who are sensitive (so you might want to think twice about bringing the whole family over for dinner). Nevertheless, the restaurant is still lauded by many for its deliberately bad service that's out of the ordinary.

However, there are certain rules to abide by when you're visiting the pop-up. According to the restaurant's website, the team have specifically banned certain types of behaviour.

Karen’s Diner’s policy also states that all children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult, which suggests that children are welcome, but at your own discretion.

And while you may experience some terrible service, you can, however, expect some of the most amazing burgers. On the menu, the pop-up will see some of Karen's Diner's most popular burgers, hot dogs, finger food, desserts, milkshakes and alcohol.

Some of the drinks that you can look forward to include thick creamy shakes and thoughtfully crafted cocktails like the Karen’s Fiery Apple Pie, the alcoholic 90s Karen coke float, the Parisian Karen with lychee liqueur and rose syrup, and more.

The details of the pop-up have yet to be confirmed but there is a waitlist that is now open on the Explore Hidden website and you also don't have to pay for a spot on the waitlist. However, according to the page, the pop-up will run till May 31, 2023. Replying to an e-mail query from The Straits Times on whether the reports are true, a spokesman for the diner says: "Not yet but keep an eye on bemorekaren.com where we announce where we are going to next."
