Love it or hate it, durian season is upon us again, evident from the rows upon rows of the green, thorny fruit lined up at the neighbourhood fruit stores.

An industry expert from Royal Durian Singapore previously shared that the best time to get your hands on the fruit is two to three weeks after the start of the season.

They also warn that if you notice sellers suddenly giving massive discounts on their durians, it is possible that their inventory is starting to go bad and needs to be cleared. But if you have a seller that you trust, you can purchase durians whenever it strikes your fancy.

If you’re worried about heading outside during this period, but still want to indulge or hold a durian party in the comfort of home, you can still get it – alongside other durian-based treats – delivered right to your doorstep! Some of these sellers even provide a 100% replacement or money-back guarantee.

Check out our list below.

Royal Durian Singapore

Royal Durian specialises in the Pahang Mao Shan Wang durian which is freshly brought into Singapore in the day. In the evening, the durian is packed and immediately delivered to ensure its freshness when it reaches you. You can be assured that all their durian is of the highest standard as they never serve overnight durian. Instead, leftover stock is made into their own cold confectionery, like durian puffs and mousse, which are delicious in their own right.
