Most Singaporean households will be familiar with food ambassador Violet Oon – and this is where to go for true blue Peranakan fare. Robust flavours infuse dishes like Buah Keluak Ayam (a spicy chicken stew) and Beef Rendang (beef in a tangy Tamarind gravy).
