The fish-shaped snack is akin to the Japanese taiyaki, but with a slightly cakier consistency. We got to admit that the packaging was the bait that lured us in first. On biting into one of these fluffy cakes, your palate will be greeted by the sweet azuki chocolate cream filling, which complements the subtler cake encasing it. The good thing is that it is light and palm-sized, making it a good dessert to carry around.

Korean titbits don’t get any more Korean than tteokbokki crackers. Rice cakes in gochujang should be considered a Korean national dish, and these crackers pay homage to its popularity, although we feel that it is a far cry from the actual dish. Nevertheless, the crackers still hold its own as an addictive snack, with the spiciness and sticky sweet sauce making it hard to put down.
