Singapore Restaurant Week March 2013

If you’ve been wanting to try out your friends’ fine dining restaurant recommendations, here’s more reason to do so this March.

Running from March 18 to 24, the latest edition of the Singapore Restaurant Week returns with more lucky draw prizes and restaurants than ever before. Dine at over 105 restaurants, with special three-course menus available from $25* for lunch and $35* for dinner.

On top of that, most of the participating restaurants will serve a “grand tasting platter”: tasting portions of their signature dishes will be included in the three-course menus for the week. In short, you’ll get to sample the best dishes of restaurants that you’re new to, at wallet-friendly prices.

New additions to the Restaurant week list include Gunther’s, Le Petit Cancale, OTTO Locanda, which will be participating in the Singapore Restaurant Week for the first time.

Play a “scratch and win” game and you’ll stand to win lucky draw prizes too. Restaurant Week diners can download the soon to be launched Bucket – Scratch & Win app to participate in the lucky draw; top prizes include a stay at the Capella Hotel, a pair of KLM air tickets to Bali and the Amsterdam Restaurant Week.

The last Singapore Restaurant Week in October 2012 drew a total of 37,000 reservations, and from what we know, the seats were snapped up fast. Priority booking for American Express card holders has already started, so if you’re holding the card, you already get first dibs on the restaurant picks.

So plan ahead and decide which restaurants are your must-go stops; reservations for the Singapore Restaurant Week can be made from February 22.
