If 100 flavours of chocolate isn’t enough to satiate your chocolate obsession, then Chocolate Research Facility’s new range of in-house merchandise might be just the thing to hit the spot.

Purveyor of all things chocolate-related, this haven of saccharine treats will be introducing the quirky collection of Picnic Plates to their range of chocolate-inspired in-house merchandise in September 2011.

Noted for the trademark chocolate drip design on their dining plates, mugs, t-shirts, and other lifestyle merchandise, this will be the first time Chocolate Research Facility will be curating their in-house merchandise.

Inspired by classic checkered picnic mats in red, white and blue, the new dining plates will also be sporting Chocolate Research Facility’s signature drip design, only this time in white.

The Picnic Plates are produced in collaboration with fine dining tableware artisans, Luzerne, and are made in the finest quality of new bone china, resulting in durable tableware that will withstand extreme temperatures, is chip-resistant, oven-proof, as well as dishwasher and microwave safe.

Chocolate Research Facility’s Picnic Plates will be available in all Chocolate Research Facility stores from September 2011. The plates come in two sizes and colours: Royal Blue, 21.5cm in diameter, $25; and Royal Red, 23.5cm in diameter, $28. For more information, visit www.chocolateresearchfacility.com.
