When you think of L’Occitane, the first thing that comes to mind would probably be lotions formulated with natural, delicious sweet-smelling ingredients like lavender, almond and shea butter. But if you thought hand creams and bars of soap are all there is to the French brand, think again because L’Occitane is increasingly known for more savory smells as well. In fact, L’Occitane actually has a café that serves up delicious French-inspired dishes in Shibuya, Tokyo.

And this cafe is coming to Singapore as pop up

Recently, L’Occitane also collaborated with renowned French pastry chef Pierre Herme to set up a lifestyle concept store in Paris that is home to an essential oils distillery, a restaurant, and a coffee and cocktail bar.

The pop-up in Singapore draws inspiration from this concept.

From July 3 to 16, L’Occitane will be teaming up with local dessert maestro Janice Wong to debut its pop-up café, The L’Occitane A Journey in Every Sense pop-up.

The café , which will be located at the Ion Orchard Level 1 Atrium , will plating up sweet treats inspired by natural ingredients like cherry blossom, verbena, bergamot, rose and almond (all of which are ingredients found in L’Occitane products), in Janice Wong’s signature colourful and experimental style.

With the theme of “Journey in Every Sense”, this pop-up will take you through an immersive experience that will delight all your senses.

There will be a texture bar where you can try out the textures and scents of L’Occitane’s skincare range.

You can also take a trip to Provence, the birth place of L’Occitane, accompanied by popular French tunes in an interactive 360 VR hot air balloon ride.
