Jamie Oliver to hold Singapore graffiti art contest

Budding graffiti artists, listen up: here’s a chance to design a graffiti mural for Jamie Oliver’s first restaurant in Singapore.

Ahead of the restaurant opening at VivoCity this year, the celebrity chef wants Singapore artists to send in sketches of their proposed designs, along with three of their relevant recent art works to design@jamieoliver-int.com by April 1.

The selected artist will then be commissioned to create a 10.5 metre wide and 2.3 metre tall graffiti design for Jamie’s Italian at VivoCity.

Graffiti murals have been a permanent fixture of the Jamie’s Italian franchise globally. To date, Oliver has opened 34 outlets worldwide, with outlets soon to open in both Perth and Singapore.

To apply to Jamie Oliver’s Singapore graffiti art contest, email your entry to design@jamieoliver-int.com with the email subject: “Jamie’s Artwork Singapore” and include your name in the subject line too. Submissions close on April 1; the winning artist will be notified on April 15.
