Designed by its head chef Atsushi Murata, Bread Society’s Spooky pumpkin bread ($1.80) takes on a shape much like that famous Scream mask, while its danish pastry Trick or Treat ($2.50) offers a savoury-sweet mix of bananas, pumpkin, custard and a dark chocolate pumpkin-faced top.

Peas on mashed potato form a “ghoulish” side to your slab of hickory smoked pork ribs ($28), while a pair of lychee “eyeballs” top an Eyeballini ($16) cocktail at Oriole. Your straight-laced friend on the other hand, can pick the Black Magic Spell ($18) of squid ink linguine with pumpkin for Halloween.

From October 26, the bartenders over at Jigger & Pony will be serving up some pirate inspired rum-based cocktails such as the different varieties of the Daiquiri to the Mai Tai. Sip these drinks and let your mind be transported to the Caribbean – listen to the waves of the sea, feel the warm crisp air and sand beneath your feet. Sounds like something you’d say “aye” to? Until October 31, The Pavilion is offering a complimentary drink to all who come dressed in their spooky costumes! Gruesome drink options such as the Beheaded cocktail makes for a poisonous concoction with vodka, lime and hibiscus syrup. For those who would prefer a non-alcoholic drink, the Brainsick mocktail will deliver with its blend of tropical fruit puree.
