The Glenfiddich Grand Cru

For those who shy away from whisky because of its strong smoky flavour, Glenfiddich’s latest addition may well woo female drinkers with its pleasant notes of vanilla, baked goods and fresh fruit.

The Grand Cru is Glenfiddich’s latest addition to its prestigious collection of aged single malts that comes in a sleek black packaging, and looks as great as it tastes.

Taking 23 years to produce, The Grand Cru has a rich and intense flavour owing to the maturation in American and European oak casks at the Glenfiddich Distillery. It is finished in rare French cuvée oak casks, which once contained the world’s most extraordinary sparkling wines, resulting in a softer, sweet flavour profile.

Brian Kinsman, who is Glenfiddich’s Malt Master, says: “Marrying the best of both worlds, the final liquid presents an exceptional finesse and is a special tribute to each cuvée cask the malts were finished in.”

The whisky is housed in a slim, black, glass bottle, embossed with the gold Grand Cru print and is presented in beautiful black box, featuring a sparkling golden firework design.

The Glenfiddich Grand Cru is priced at $350. It is available at major international airports, including Changi Airport or it can be found on www.ishopchangi.com
