What really makes an amazing hotel stand out in the crowd? Besides the rooms, the service and the facilities, it’s the food. Now, we have to say that this isn’t easy to nail, particularly with the buffet service. These have to be crowd-pleasers, but also have to be unique enough to draw accolades from critics and win fans on home ground.

We sussed out the hotel buffets you’ve got to try. These are the ones that went through recent major revamps, going from so-so to stunning. Be prepared to book, and eat.

Make your reservations early, as the crowd is always thick at Edge during dinner service! After refurbishing drew to a close in July, entire new live stations sections have sprung up – boasting everything from Asian delicacies like double-boiled soups to local sweets like Teh Tarik and Chendol. But the star of the show is, without a doubt, the upsized seafood station, where you can even create your own DIY Seafood in a Cup.
