Stir-fried Assam Prawns
INGREDIENTS
30g assam paste cup water
250g prawns, washed and dried
White pepper, to taste
1/2 tsp dark soya sauce
2 tbsp cooking oil
1/2 tsp sugar
DIRECTIONS
1 Mix the assam paste with the water and sieve the mixture, letting the assam juice drip over the prawns.
2 Add the pepper and dark soya sauce to the prawns.
3 Heat the oil in a wok and stir-fry prawns over medium heat for about 1-2min until cooked.
4 Stir in the sugar. Remove from heat and serve.
