Grab some of your gal pals who are in love with durians and head on how to Marriott Cafe for a scrumptious Durian High tea buffet. Expect a plethora of durian creations, both sweet and savoury.
But most notably… the durian pizza. Decadent with gooey goodness, think fragrant durian flesh teamed up with stringy mozzarella, creamy mascarpone cheese, all topped on a crusty base with crumbled coconut shavings. Sooooo indulgent. Pezzo brings the durian pizza game further and pairs it with active charcoal blended flour. Active charcoal sure is THE star ingredient, even in skincare. The active charcoal crust is said to promote digestion, simultaneously trapping toxins and chemicals that will be flushed out of the system.

If you’re a hardcore fanatic, then Parkroyal Pickering’s newest Thorny Temptations Buffet is perfect for you. Featuring all-you-can-eat Mao Shan Wang and D24 durians, you’ll feel so pampered because chefs stationed at the booth are going to do the legwork for you – removing all flesh from the seed. So you can enjoy the fruit without having the lingering smell on your hands.
Do remember to check out the savoury section, especially their Durian Ravioli with Sage and Garlic Butter. Drizzled with luscious sage butter sauce, these babies are filled with creamy durian, melding sweet and savoury together.

King Durian Steamboat
Having a steamboat is always a good way to gather with some friends but… durians in a hot pot? Wild. Steeped in a hot chicken broth, this King Durian Steamboat comes sprinkled with goji berries and sweet dates. We suggest tearing little chunks of durian flesh and mixing it into the broth before you add your regular ingredients (meat, vegetables, vermicelli) in.
Let them sit for a while before digging in. While this might sound surprising but the sweetness from the chicken broth complements the XO durian flesh rather well.

Durian Chee Cheong Fun
Chee Cheong Fun (rice noodle roll) a favourite local breakfast choice is now reimagined with durian flesh. So if you’re looking to shake up your usual breakfast choice, we suggest heading down to House of Rice Rolls and Porridge. The rice noodle roll is silky with a slight chewy texture and instead of the usual shrimp or barbecued pork, it is teamed with velvety durian puree.
