Most people would usually go to a ramen restaurant to have just ramen, but Uma Uma Ramen’s char siu don ($5) is a must-try when you eat at the restaurant. With fragrant Japanese Rice topped with perfectly charred char siu, one cannot stop at just having one bowl. The char siu is also tender and sweet, and if you feel like you can’t have enough of the meat, you can order for extra servings at $6 for four pieces.
Great ramen comes to you in the form of Uma Uma Ramen’s Bushi Tonkotsu Ramen ($16). Cooked in a flavourful pork broth, bowl of noodles is topped with char siu, bamboo shoots, Japanese soft boiled egg and made sweeter with the addition of bonito flakes. Those with a sweet tooth, this ramen is the one you’d want to try if you dine at the restaurant.
