From the way the hundreds of fans screamed their lungs out, it was clear that Hong Kong TVB stars still had their pull with audiences here.

The always sexy Kate Tsui did not disappoint in a black dress with a deep neckline and slicked back hair. Mr Nice Guy Kenneth Ma openly declared that the female co-star he “loves the most” is Myolie Wu. Actor Bosco Wong however turned up in a questionable pink outfit, complete with neon pink shoes.

Triumph In The Skies 2, TVB’s drama about the airline industry, was the biggest winner at the StarHub TVB Awards 2013, sweeping four awards at the show.
Other than being voted My Favourite TVB Drama, it was also voted the Singapore Media’s Favourite TVB Drama.
Meanwhile, its leads Myolie Wu and Julian Cheung won for My Favourite TVB Female and Male Character.
Cheung played the suave pilot Captain Cool, while Wu played feisty airplane technician Summer.
The show was also a huge ratings magnet in Hong Kong this year. Wu looked glam in a black bejewelled halter gown and a short pixie haircut.
Cheung, however, was not at the event.
Held at the Marina Bay Sands Grand Theatre on September 28, 2013, the fourth annual awards show is organised by StarHub with Hong Kong broadcaster TVB and hands out awards to the overseas station’s stars and programmes based on their popularity here.
Other major awards of the night included My Favourite TVB Actress, which went to Tavia Yeung, and My Favourite TVB Actor, which Bosco Wong took.
Awards were handed out in 20 categories.
