If you've watched The Glory, then you would know that Joo Yeo-jeong and Park Yeon-jin are both onscreen enemies in the hit South Korean drama. And while many can't stop talking about the show, the two caused a buzz when news broke out about their rumoured romance over the weekend.
Since the rumour broke out on the 1st of April, many thought that their relationship was an April Fool's prank. However, much to our surprise, those rumours were actually proven to be true when Ji-yeon and Do-hyun's agencies confirmed their status on Saturday.
“The two have become intimate as co-stars and developed (their) intimacy into a romantic one as a couple. We understand that their relationship has just started and the two are in the beginning stages of getting to know each other. The two have been taking things slowly, so please congratulate them,” Ji-yeon's agency Artist Company told The Korea Herald.
Yuehua Entertainment also offered a similar response on behalf of Lee Do-hyun, stating, "The two close sunbae-hoobaes have recently started getting to know each other with positive feelings."
According to South Korean tabloid Dispatch, it was also reported that the on-screen enemies began dating after meeting on the set of The Glory, and first became interested in each other after a cast trip last summer.
Lim Ji-yeon, 32, played the vicious school bully of protagonist Moon Dong-eun (Song Hye-kyo), while Lee Do-hyun, 27, played the role of Joo Yeo-jeong — who's also known as the doctor, right-hand man and love interest of Moon Dong-eun in the show.
