It seems the fans just can’t get enough of SKarf, the only K-Pop girl group to include two Singaporean members, Tasha and Ferlyn.

Following their highly successful debut in August, the group underwent some reshuffling when member Sol left and was replaced by two other girls – Korean JooA, 22, and Japanese-born, Seoul-raised Hana, 16.

SKarf is latest local celebrity ambassador for Samsung Galaxy camera

With their new members, the revamped SKarf performed at the New Year’s Eve 2012 countdown party at Marina Bay, Celebrate 2013, to a rousing reception.

And 2013 is looking to be a year of celebration for the group generally. Samsung announced this week that SKarf is the latest addition to its line-up of celebrity ambassadors for the Samsung Galaxy Camera, and will be joining the current ambassador, Singapore actor Desmond Tan in promoting the product.

With the Samsung Galaxy Camera, the girls will be able to take behind-the-scenes snapshots and upload and share regular updates via the Samsung Mobile Singapore Facebook page to offer their fans an inside look at the life of K-Pop starlets.

Fifty lucky Samsung fans who liked, shared and commented on the photos on the Samsung Facebook page won a pair of tickets and special SKarf postcard each, and got the chance to meet SKarf and have their postcards autographed at a meet-and-greet event held in Singapore at Bugis+ on January 2, 2013.

The group performed their hit songs, played interactive games with their fans and also demonstrated using the Samsung Galaxy Camera by snapping photos of the event.

From now until January 28, log on to the Samsung Mobile Singapore Facebook page to like, share and comment on photos posted as part of the brand’s ‘I was There’ campaign and you could win two Samsung Galaxy Cameras. For more information, visit www.samsung.com/sg
