The last that we saw of Princess Charlotte was back in May 2015, when proud parents Prince William and Duchess Kate left the St Mary’s Hospital with their newborn daughter.

Now, the world gets another glimpse of baby Princess Charlotte, this time at her christening.

The christening was held on Sunday, July 5, 2015, at the Church of St Mary Magdalene in the village of Sandringham in Norfolk, England, attended by an intimate group of family and friends, with royal well-wishers cheering the family’s arrival just outside the church.

Her stylish mum Duchess Kate looked ever so poised in her Alexander McQueen coat and dress set; her go-to designer for seemingly any occasion.

You gotta love how this royal family colour-coordinates too. Just look at how happy father Prince William’s tie matches his son’s red-and-white outfit. Royal sibling Prince George also looks so adorable perched over the pram to see his dear baby sister; cue the squeals of “so cute”!

If you’re wondering about the make of that super intricate lace and satin dress on Princess Charlotte, turns out that it’s part of a long royal family tradition.

This christening gown is an exact replica of the royal family’s first commissioned dress for christenings in 1841, as reported by Reuters. In fact, Princess Charlotte’s gown is said to be the same christening robe that her brother Prince George wore barely a year ago.

Even the pram that the baby princess was in comes with history. According to Kensington Royal (the official Twitter account of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince Harry), the Millson pram that Princess Charlotte was seen in, was previously used by her uncles Prince Edward and Prince Andrew.
