Park Seo-joon finally addresses dating rumours with YouTuber xooos

During yesterday's press conference for the highly anticipated film Concrete Utopia, actor Park Seo-joon finally shed light on the persistent rumours surrounding his alleged romance with popular YouTuber xooos.

Seo-joon expressed gratitude for the attention he received but also emphasised that he wishes for privacy, hinting at his reluctance to delve into the details of his relationship with xooos.

"In my situation, I feel a lot of pressure in revealing my personal life and it is difficult to say anything noteworthy because it is part of my personal life."

"This is my first official schedule for Concrete Utopia so I hope you show a lot of interest in the movie," he was quoted as saying.

The photo that gave away Park Seo-joon and xooos' relationship

The two were said to have met through mutual friends. They were pictured together in a now-deleted group photo by Chanel designer Oleg Moscal, which fuelled speculation on Korean forums. According to reports by Korean news sites, Park Seo-joon and xooos have been dating for awhile.

Previously, both celebrities' management agencies refrained from confirming or denying the dating rumours, citing privacy concerns.

Who is xooos?

Born in 1994, the 29-year-old singer and YouTuber is 5 years younger than Seo-joon. Her real name is Kim Soo-yeon, and she participated in the girl group survival reality show MIXNINE back in 2017. Despite not making it to the finals, xooos captivated audience with her talent and charm. She now has over a million subscribers on her YouTube channel, where she posts covers of popular songs as well as vlogs.
