Hallyu star Lee Min-ho has finally come out to talk about his military enlistment despite his agency asking interviewers not to bring up the topic.

According to The Korea Herald via AsiaOne, Lee addressed his enlistment on his own:

“I heard that a fan shaved her hair as a sign that she would wait for me during the years as a soldier,” he said.

“I was really touched by her meaningful actions. But unfortunately there are no specific details or plans regarding my enlistment yet. Her hair might have grown back by then.”

The star is preparing for his return to the big screen with Chinese movie Bounty Hunters, set to hit theatres on June 9.
