Lara Stone doesn’t “potter around in high heels” and cosmetics when she’s at home.
The Calvin Klein model lives a relatively low-maintenance life and prefers to keep things toned down when she’s not working.
The Dutch supermodel is married to British comedian David Walliams so does occasionally think she should make some effort.
“I don’t potter around in high heels and full make-up at home,” Lara explained to British newspaper The Sunday Times. “That happens occasionally, but not in heels. Barefoot.”
The 28-year-old started dating the 41-year-old funny man in September 2009 and they were wed in January 2010. Lara reveals that it is easy to keep the spark alive in their relationship as the nature of their work means things don’t get a chance to go stale.
“We both have such random jobs, it’s not mundane,” Lara explained. “He doesn’t go to the office while I cook him dinner, so I don’t feel like I have to be too grown-up about the whole thing.”
The down-to-earth star has already decided her aspirations for her career once her modelling days are over. Lara plans to open her own chip shop.
“I’d like to have my own burger place. I’m going to call it Lara’s Baps and Buns. There’s not a proper, good café here,” Lara explained about the restaurants in London’s Belsize Park which is where she lives with David. “I want a proper, good chips place. They’re all too fancy. That’s the plan.” – COVER MEDIA
