Local celebrity couple Joanne Peh and Qi Yuwu, proud parents to one-year-old daughter Baby Qi, have announced they are expecting their second child.
Peh, 33, broke the news on her Instagram account yesterday, posting a picture of the feet of their family of three, as well as an adorable pair of yellow bumblebee baby bootees.
“We are so happy to share that our family is growing,” she posted, tagging husband Qi, 39, and daughter Baby Qi.
Within minutes, the congratulatory messages began pouring in for the couple, and the post garnered over 1,000 likes within an hour.
In a phone interview with the media, Peh, who is three months pregnant, expressed excitement about the coming addition to their family.
“We were really happy when we first received the news, although Yuwu still didn’t believe it at first and wanted to buy another pregnancy kit to confirm it,” she said.
Peh is currently filming Channel 8 drama Dream Coder, which will air in February. While husband Qi is currently in China as he splits his time between China and Singapore, he plans to spend more time here next year to be by Peh’s side.
