Gender bending model Andrej Pejic set for reality showGender-bending model Andrej Pejic looks set to become the fashion world’s latest reality television star, with a spokesperson for his modeling agency confirming that he’s “in the early stages” of taping a show.

The androgynous male model sparked rumors of television stardom last year when he tweeted, “Should I do a reality tv show? I mean what would I have…to say.”

Then, this week rumors began circulating that the star was set to appear in his own reality show, with frockwriter.com first dishing the news July 12.

These reports have since been confirmed, with a rep for DNA Models, Pejic’s agency in New York, telling fashionista.com of the project.

“It’s still in the early stages, but yes, there is a show being developed around Andrej,” explained the spokesperson.

Sources close to Pejic told Australian journalist Patty Huntington (Frockwriter) that the program will follow Pejic as he embarks on various job assignments. It is also reported that Pejic’s mother Jadranka Savic will star on the new show, although more details are scarce at the moment.

Pejic is one of the fashion industry’s most in-demand names, modeling both men’s and women’s attire for the likes of Jean Paul Gaultier.

He also generated a huge buzz online when he fronted a campaign for Dutch retailer Hema’s “Mega Push-Up Bra” last December.
