One of the most hotly anticipated events on the calendar, the annual F1 Singapore Grand Prix has always been packed with high-intensity races, stellar performances by international artistes, and exclusive after-parties. This year’s edition was no different.
You can count on tons of celebrities flocking to our sunny island to celebrate the weekend. ICYMI, here are eight who were spotted at the 2019 F1 Grand Prix.
1. Iman Fandi
The up-and-coming model was seen having a blast with one of her brothers Ilhan on the first day of the F1 Singapore Grand Prix. We love her choice of outfit: a feminine sequinned backless top paired with tough-looking cargo pants.
2. Yvette King
The host of E! News Asia and anchor of Fox Sports News looked stunning in an embellished strapless jumpsuit at the Podium Lounge after-party.
3. Hanli Hoefer
Our September cover star was spotted having fun at the Podium Lounge during the Grand Prix weekend, though she might have been working through the night (she was the emcee for the after-party).
4. Gwen Stefani
The 49-year old singer-songwriter served up a dose of nostalgia to her fans at the Padang. She wowed the crowd with her hit songs, starting with The Sweet Escape (2006) and closed the performance with Hollaback Girl (2005). It was a memorable throwback for all the Noughties lovers.
5. Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso and Steve Angello of the Swedish House Mafia
The house music band was one of the headliners at this year’s Grand Prix. The trio – Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso and Steve Angello – lit up the night with smash hits like Greyhound (2012) and Calling (Lose My Mind) (2012).
6. Prince Mateen of Brunei
Every year, the heart-throb Prince Mateen of Brunei flies to our shores to attend the Grand Prix – and this year was no exception. We aren’t exactly sure if he went for the after-parties (he’s keeping it under wraps on his Instagram), but we’re pretty positive that he enjoyed the races.
7. DJ Sigala
Amber Lounge might be known for its fashion shows and unlimited flow of cocktails and champagne, but this year’s was more than just that. The renowned English DJ was one of the highlights that spun at the party on Sunday (Sept 22) and had everyone grooving to his EDM beats.
8. Mel C
The former Spice Girl (aka Melanie C) was in town during the F1 weekend, but it wasn’t just for fun and games: The English singer-songwriter performed at Podium Lounge alongside other acts like The Cuban Brothers and Raleigh Ritchie.
