The 13-year-old actress is a fan of fashion pastiche. Elle knows exactly where to go to find the perfect clothes for her wardrobe.
“In LA I go to two vintage stores, Playclothes and Golyester,” Elle told ASOS magazine.
“I found this orange romper – 60s Japanese, corduroy and neon orange – at Golyester recently when I was looking for something to wear to a Katy Perry concert. On the side are light baby blue bows and in the hem on the shorts there’s a bell, so it rings when you walk.”
Elle appreciates Katy Perry’s taste in clothes, as they both share a passion for styles passed.
“Yes [I like Katy Perry’s style] but right now my icon is Sylvie Vartan – the French 60s singer,” she explained. “I love her pigtails and bangs, the baby doll dresses and Virgin Suicides long nightgowny things.”
Elle searches for her classic looks in a very modern fashion. “I do my research online but I have to try on stuff,” she said. © COVER MEDIA
