Dree Hemingway was considering a career in design before “modelling took over”.

The supermodel is the current face of luxury label Ermanno Scervino.

The model has been showcasing the designer’s latest pieces at Milan Fashion Week – but has now revealed she could imagine creating clothes herself.

“Last year, I was working on my own lingerie line but then modelling took over and I didn’t want to do anything half-heartedly,” she explained to British magazine Grazia.

The literary heiress even has an idea for items she would create.

Her passion lies in creating androgynous looks, with a retro feel.

“I love that ’70s vibe – unbleached fabrics, oversized trousers – and I have a book of ’70s climbers wearing perfectly dishevelled outfits in California so that would be inspiration,” she revealed.

But for now, Dree is busy with other projects – as well as walking at Fashion Week, the model recently filmed a music video for British indie band The Vaccines. – COVER MEDIA
