Veteran Hong Kong actress Christy Chung made an appearance in Singapore on September 16 as part of the promotions for a new treatment for slimming company Marie France Bodyline.

Speaking in a breathy, Marilyn Monroe-esque voice, the mother of three daughters – ranging in age from seven months to 12 years – says it got progressively harder for her to lose the 22kg she put on after each pregnancy.

Running after her other two children and a slowing metabolism made it difficult to lose the baby weight after giving birth to Cayla Yen in February this year. “This is the last baby.” she proclaimed.

Ms Chung also revealed she wrapped up filming for the new movie Bruce Lee, My Brother a month ago, playing Bruce Lee’s mother, Grace Ho.

“I’d been waiting for a challenging role like this, to be able to act with emotional depth,” she said about the first role she’s done in six years. The movie will be released in November.

As for her exercise and diet regime, she says she walks on the treadmill for 30 minutes when she can and tries to eat healthily.

“I’ve tried all the treatments at Marie France but this one’s like four machines combined into one and it takes less time to work with instant results,” she claims of the new V’Pro System which helped her lose 11kg and 32 inches in six weeks. She is still using it.
