Cara Delevingne lively as a childCara Delevingne never gets tired, only “more manic”.

The 20-year-old has become a sensation in the fashion industry, even scooping the Model of the Year honour at the 2012 British Fashion Awards.

She has also appeared in a number of campaigns, including Chanel, H&M and Burberry, and walked an impressive total of 38 shows last season.

While the past year has been extremely busy for Delevingne, but the star never finds her energy flagging.

“I never really expected it to be like this. I always said it can’t get busier than it is now – and that was six months ago,” she told Vogue.

“I don’t seem to get tired, I just get more manic. Even as a child, I remember sleeping was never good for me. There’s always so much going on in my head.”

“I work under high anxiety,” she admitted.

“I leave everything until the last minute to stress myself out as much as possible. I do forget sometimes that I need to breathe slowly. I work myself up until I run into a wall.”

Whereas Cara’s high energy levels are working in her favour now, this hasn’t always been the case.

The British beauty left school as soon as she could, finding it difficult to work under test conditions.

“I found exams impossible,” she recalled. “My brain works too quickly for me to be able to write it down fast enough. I had a hard time in my GCSE year; I had a bit of depression, which people find weird because I am a happy person. When I was upset I would never tell anyone. I hid it, even to myself and you can’t keep all of that inside.” — COVER MEDIA
