There’s just something magical about a good suit – it manages to transform even the slackest dresser into a smart gentleman. A good suit should fit as though it was tailor-made for the body – saggy trousers and oversized jackets need not apply.
British fashion house Burberry have always boasted an impressive selection of suits and this time round, it has outdone itself with the launch of Burberry Travel Tailoring.
Christopher Bailey summarises the new collection in a sentence, “Travel Tailoring takes us back to the very thing we are founded on – design innovation and craftsmanship – and challenges the traditional construction of the classic British suit.”
Burberry has taken the same forward-looking approach it has with technology to its design structure with its Travel Tailoring range. The pieces are made of naturally flexible fabrics – memory fabrics – that maintain their shape while keeping creases to a minimum – hence making them great for travelling in. The innovative lightweight canvas – motion canvas – and engineered shoulder construction doesn’t restrict movement for better fit and feel. Plus, there’s a further option to tailor the pieces for the best fit one can find.
What this all means is even if your man is reluctant about pulling on a suit, when he tries on a Burberry Travel Tailoring one, he might be so blown away by how comfortable it is that you will have trouble coaxing him to take it off.
