Cancers (21 June – 22 July) are said to be fiercely loyal to people they keep close. Leos (22 July – 23 August), on the other hand, are said to be warm-hearted and loving. Join us as we take a look at our favourite Asian celebrities who celebrate their birthdays in July.
The fast-talking host celebrated her 54th birthday this year - you wouldn’t believe that the doe-eyed star was born on July 1, 1967!
Judging from her accomplishments in the past few months which include the Best Supporting Actress award at this year’s Star Awards for her role as Zhang Tianqing in “Day Break”, we’re pretty sure the rest of 2021 will be a good one for Kym.

Yoga Lin, who turned 34 on July 1, found fame after winning the reality television singing competition “One Million Star.”
On July 5, Chinese actor Chen Xiao celebrated his 34th birthday and got a very loving Instagram shout-out from his wife Michelle Chen. The photo shows the actor asleep with his four-year-old son’s foot resting on his forehead and is captioned with: “Hubby, Happy Birthday! I hope that you’ll get to sleep in everyday. ❤️”
The couple fell in love while filming the 2014 drama series The Romance Of The Condor Heroes, based on Louis Cha's wuxia novel The Return Of The Condor Heroes. They played the lead romantic couple of Yang Guo and Little Dragon Maiden. The co-stars-turned-lovers tied the knot in 2016 and their son was born the same year.
The bronzed beauty, turning a year older on July 8, was first thrust into the spotlight after joining and winning a MTV VJ hunt contest in 1988.
The TV veteran isn’t just a pretty face, she is also a World Vision Ambassador, a role she dreamt about for years. Through World Vision, the humanitarian sponsors two girls, Vimean and Pramila, from Cambodia and Vietnam.
As someone who radiates positivity and champions social and humanitarian causes, Belinda Lee has offered many inspiring life lessons for us.
The “Project Superstar” alumnus turned 38 on July 11. She entered the show business after coming in second in the grand finals of the local singing competition, which opened doors for Kelly who successfully landed a recording contract with Universal Music. Last year, Kelly tied the knot with Taiwanese music producer Roger Yo, whom she met through work.

The past five years have been quite a run for the Malaysian-born actress who went from a fresh-faced rookie to leading lady. She turned 27 on July 12.
The former actress catapulted to fame after winning the 1993 talent competition “Star Search” and clinching the “Miss Photogenic” title at the same contest. In 2009, Ivy stepped out of the spotlight and moved to Hong Kong with her Hong Kong born director and producer husband, Raymond Choy. They are parents to two daughters as well as twin boys.

Kim, who turned 30 on July 23, has been busy building her beauty empire. The mother-of-one opened a haircare centre Papilla Haircare at the beginning of 2020 followed by aesthetics centre and medispa Illumia Therapeutics.
2021 marks Singaporean singer Stefanie Sun's 21st anniversary in show business. The 43-year-old shot to fame with her outstanding debut album, Yan Zi, in 2000, which won her the Best New Artist accolade at the 12th Golden Melody Awards. She is mother of two, a boy and a girl.

Here’s another celebrity who will be blowing out his candles on July 23. The veteran Malaysian-born actor is 50 this year. The last drama he worked on is “Worker” - a six-part Taiwanese HBO Asia original about a group of easy-going blue-collar workers.
2021 marks the 26th year since the Cantopop superstar’s foray into show business. Eason, who is 47 this year, entered the music industry after winning first place in the “New Talent Singing Awards Competition” that earned him a contract with record label Capital Artists. The multi-talented artist was ranked “6” in the 2013 Forbes China Celebrity Top 100 List and has released over 40 studio albums in his career.
