Aside from the glorious gowns and daring outfits, we all tuned into the Grammy Awards 2017 to see who would be scooping these prestigious awards.

Oh, and lest we not forget, the incredible live performances from both Adele and Queen Bey herself.

If you haven't caught up yet, you need to see Beyonce's gravity-defying performance, pushing back on her chair, heavily pregnant and unaided by props.

Yes, we all couldn't breathe either.

Adele, minus the stunts, also blew us away with her incredible performance of 'Hello' as well as her unforgettable tribute to the late icon, George Michael.

These two power-houses were not only the best performers of the night, but also the award-winning Queens too.

Adele took home a whopping five Grammys: Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Album of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Pop Solo Performance.

Basically, the globe just fell in love with '25' and 'Hello' over and over again.

Beyonce didn't leave empty handed though, she took Best Urban Contemporary Album and Best Music Video

Oh, and she also took home something worth so much more than any physical object - a beautifully honest and inspiring dedication speech from Adele herself.

During her acceptance speech of Album of the Year, Adele moved us all by saying she couldn't possibly accept the award, and went on to say:

"My artist of my life is Beyonce, and this album for me, the Lemonade album, was so monumental Beyonce, so well thought out, and so beautiful and soul-bearing, and we all got to see another side to you that you don't let us all see, and we appreciate that.  And all us artists here, we adore you, you are our light, and the way you make me and my friends feel, the way you make my black friends feel is empowering, and you make them stand up for themselves. I love you, I always have"

With tears in both Beyonce's and our eyes, Adele proved once again that you can be a real, loving, down-to-earth person and still succeed in the showbiz industry.
