He Will Be Loved: the pop singer and Maroon 5 frontman has been named 2013’s Sexiest Man Alive by People magazine.
Check your pulses, ladies (and check his while you’re at it), as Adam Levine has fought off the competition to hit the golden center of a Venn diagram marked “alive” and “really sexy”.
He fought off close competition from British actor Idris Elba (the 41-year-old star of The Wire and Luther placed second in People’s poll), while the bronze medal in sexy-aliveness went to singer-songwriter Luke Bryan.
The award caps off a big year for Levine. One of the coaches on hit TV talent show The Voice, he has also launched men’s and women’s fragrances, dabbled in fashion with a debut clothing line for Kmart, and shot his first feature film, titled Can a Song Save Your Life?, alongside Keira Knightley and Mark Ruffalo.
In between all of that he also found time to announce his engagement to Namibian-born Victoria’s Secret model Behati Prinsloo. Congratulations, Adam! – AFP RELAXNEWS
