Over the weekend, Big Bang’s Taeyang learnt to pole dance and Ryan Seacrest announced his cameo in the sequel to Disney’s Frozen – well at least, their digital mini-mes did.

The two posted videos they made through a Chinese application called My Idol, which allows you to create avatars of yourself. It’s almost like making a Mii on the Nintendo Wii, except this time, it actually looks like you.

These (creepy) avatars are then put in the most random situations. They sing about having no hair along a sidewalk, pole dance in onesies, and belt out soulful tunes about not wearing makeup at the opera.

But turning themselves into weird digital creatures aren’t the only thing celebs are obsessed with. Taiwanese host Show Luo accumulated about eight videos in the last four days, all of himself lip-syncing to quotes from sitcoms and song lyrics. These clips were created through video messaging app Dubsmash.

The application allows you to lip-sync to lines from movies, animal sounds and even popular vines – strangely addictive, we must say.

See for yourself: Check out these hilarious posts from 10 celebrities who have gone crazy over these apps in the past few weeks. (Taiwanese actor Kaiko’s version takes the cake, really. But we won’t spoil it for you.)
