Dia De Muertos

3/9

End off your spook-tacular Halloween festivities on a high at the 3rd edition of Dia de Muertos, Singapore’s very own arts and music fiesta celebrating Mexico’s Day of the Dead. The day is packed with a whole line-up of activities, performances and tons of food to satisfy your dying hunger (get it?).

Artists like Mexico’s EsaMiPau, Maxx Gallo and local act DJ K will be here to keep us entertained the whole day - but that’s just a snippet of the line-up so check out the entirety of it on their page. An altar and exhibition themed Frida Kahlo will be put up so expect to see both local and Mexican artwork.

It’s the first time Dia de Muertos is having Mariachi, traditional Mexican dance music, performed alongside an Aztec dance performance by the Mexican Folkloric Ballet, so you definitely will not fall short on soaking in the Mexican culture.

Then, indulge your senses in world renown Mexican cuisine - 'Señor Taco's signature array of tacos and quesadillas, as well as 'Margaritas' Tamales (Steamed Pork with Masa Dumplings, wrapped with Corn Husks), Elotes (Mexican Street Style Corn on Cob) and many more.

While you’re in the celebratory spirit give back to the community and donate to the Red Cross Foundation who will be there too - all donations will aid Mexico’s earthquake recovery efforts.
