Disney+’s newest survival series I Am Boxer has officially entered the ring. At first glance, the show might remind you of Netflix’s Physical: 100, and that’s no coincidence. I Am Boxer is produced by the same creators, this time teaming up with MCU star Ma Dong Seok (also known as Don Lee) to spotlight a new kind of endurance battle—one centred on boxing.

But beyond the intense training sessions and brutal match-ups, let’s be honest: our eyes keep drifting elsewhere. Between the chiselled physiques, quiet confidence and undeniable charisma, I Am Boxer has no shortage of good-looking men worth paying attention to. From Single’s Inferno heartthrob Yuk Jun-seo to seasoned celebrity fighters like Julien Kang, here are the I Am Boxer contestants currently living rent-free in our minds.

  1. 1. Yuk Jun-seo
  2. 2. Kwon Ohgon
  3. 3. Julien Kang
  4. 4. Jung Dawoon
  5. 5. Kim Minuk
  6. 6. Kuk Seungjun
  7. 7. Jang Hyuk

Yuk Jun-seo

Find him looking a little familiar? That’s because Yuk Jun-seo previously appeared on Netflix’s hit dating series Single’s Inferno. Known then for his long hair, he’s since swapped it out for a sharper, more edgy cut—one that perfectly mirrors his approach to boxing. On the show, Yuk revealed that his training days often involve a full-on mix of weight training, running and boxing. And as if that wasn’t impressive enough, he’s also an artist and television personality. Is there anything he can’t do?

Kwon Ohgon

A familiar name in the boxing world, Kwon Ohgon is a former Korean champion in both the lightweight and super lightweight divisions. While he may not need much of an introduction among boxing fans, I Am Boxer puts his experience and ring IQ firmly in the spotlight, proving exactly why he’s so highly respected in the sport.

Julien Kang

When Julien Kang walked into the room, the reaction was immediate. Gasps, whispers, and more than a few “wow”s followed. Often dubbed “the number one fighter among celebrities,” Julien is known for his formidable physique—described by many as “built like a tank.” With a strong fighting background and a reputation for consistently ranking among the top contenders, it’s no surprise that comparisons to Captain America keep coming up.

Jung Dawoon

Many viewers didn’t expect Jung Dawoon to show up at all, especially given his background in the world’s top MMA organisation. Competing in the middleweight category, Jung actually began his combat sports journey with boxing, which explains his natural comfort in the ring. His presence adds an interesting layer to the competition, blurring the lines between MMA and traditional boxing.

Kim Minuk

Approaching his forties but showing zero signs of slowing down, Kim Minuk proves that experience counts for a lot. A former national team athlete and OPBF champion, he may no longer compete professionally, but boxing is still very much part of his life. A quick scroll through his Instagram shows him regularly training, sparring and enjoying his time in the gym, because let’s be real, once a boxer, always a boxer.

Kuk Seungjun

As the first contestant to walk into the room in Season 1, Kuk Seungjun immediately caught attention—though some initially wondered if he had more looks than skill. Turns out, he’s anything but. Kuk hails from the Hwasun County boxing team and has been training for over 13 years. He’s also a gold medallist at both the 100th and 105th Korean National Sports Festival, proving that you really can have both the face and the fists.

Jang Hyuk

Known primarily as an actor with an extensive film and television career, Jang Hyuk’s journey into boxing began almost by accident. After stepping into a boxing gym and experiencing the post-workout high, he found himself drawn to the sport. Since then, he’s been training consistently, driven by a desire to see just how far he can push himself in the ring.
