Scoot to fly from Singapore to Seoul: Decide your own fare
Scoot to fly from Singapore to Seoul from May 29

Here’s another wallet-friendly way to the city of Kimchi, KPop and all things Korean.

From May 29, budget airline Scoot will launch a new route between Singapore and Seoul, via Taiwan.

Flights from Singapore will fly from Changi Airport Terminal 2; Singapore travellers will transit at the Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport in Taipei, before flying on to the Incheon International Airport in Seoul. Flights from Seoul on Scoot will also make a transit stop at the Taoyuan airport. Scoot flights between Singapore and Seoul are expected to run thrice a week on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Airfare tickets from Seoul to Singapore and Taiwan will go on sale at a later date.

Come March 25, do keep an eye out for this Scoot launch sale. Scoot air tickets from Singapore to Seoul will go on sale at a special launch price from 5pm on March 25 to 11.59pm on March 28.

Scoot’s Facebook fans can even have a hand in deciding on the launch airfare prices. From March 22 to 24, “like” Scoot on Facebook and join in Scoot’s “You Decide the Fare” online campaign. More sign-ups will lead to lower airfare prices when the Singapore-Seoul airfare goes on sale on March 25.

Once you’re a Scoot Facebook fan, you’ll gain early access to the launch fares; the same goes for those on Scoot’s mailing list too.

Last year, the “You Decide the Fare” campaign culminated in $88 launch fares to Sydney and Gold Coast. If the 2012 campaign is any indication, savvy Singapore travellers should definitely keep tabs on the Scoot page this March.
