Gucci creative director and Chime for Change co-founder Frida Giannini agrees with the need for action. “We have reached a significant moment in the history of girls’ and women’s empowerment and now is the time for change,” says Giannini. “I hope that (the concert) will help the voices calling for change to become so loud that they cannot be ignored.”
In support of ongoing efforts for women’s rights, the concert will also screen documentaries on the inspiring women like Humaira Bachal who have helped to provide an education for over 1,200 young school-going girls in Pakistan.
