Look out party people for there’s a new club in town!

If you are one of those who has been complaining about the party scene in our little garden city, you will delight in this piece of exciting news.

Mega club Avalon will finally be opening its doors at Marina Bay Sands on September 16 and we can all look forward to a whole host of big names including Boy George, The Chemical Brothers, Bloc Party, LMFAO and Ludacris!

The opening will coincide nicely with the F1 Grand Prix party season and the club will be throwing a series of club nights during the week of the races with some of the best names in nightlife in addition to their Avalon At Large Go! Music event.

The 17,000 square feet super club will boast some of the most ambitious lights and sound in nightlife entertainment while being housed in the phenomenal architecture of a Moshe Safdie-designed floating Crystal Pavillion at Marina Bay Sands.

It is described as being surrounded by water with panoramic views of the skyline, topped off with state-of-the-art full colour lasers and high fashion interiors.

To put the icing on the cake, Avalon is bringing back Avalon At Large GO! – the music event held to resounding success last year, with almost 16,000 in attendance. This year, they are back, with even bigger and better acts – namely Grammy winning rapper Ludacris, hip hop duo LMFAO, The Bloody Beetroots, Benny Benassi and Sander van Doorn.

We are stoked just by hearing the names that will be playing at the club and can’t wait to check out what is said to be the next destination in Singapore’s night life.

Avalon is located at Marina Bay Sands. For tickets and more information, visit www.avalon.sg
