Is this your first time going to the Singapore Favourite Food Village? These tips will help you maximise your time there and allow you to leave with a full tummy and no regrets.

Grab a few friends to go along with you
The food village will be filled with up to 30 stalls and that will mean that you’ll be full before you even get to the fifth stall! Going in groups will allow you to order more dishes to be shared amongst yourselves and you’ll be able to try more dishes in one seating.

Dress comfortably
Dressing in light clothes will allow you to stay cool and comfortable amidst the sea of fellow foodies. You won’t be able to enjoy your meal if you’re sweating buckets and rubbing sticky shoulders with others, right?

Take enough cash!
The stalls do not accept cards as a method of payment so you have to be prepared with enough cash if you intend to do some serious foodie damage there!

Your best mode of transport is …
the MRT of course! As the food village is located at Read Bridge, Clarke Quay, you are just a five-minute walk away if you alight at Clarke Quay MRT.

Be open-minded to trying new dishes
The Singapore Favourite Food Village offers you a choice of both traditional and fusion food so make the most of your time by trying whatever catches your eye!
