When luxury fashion brands the likes of Burberry, Prada and Dior launch a cafe or bar within a store (or a contemporary art museum, in the case of Fondazione Prada), you can bet the result would be undoubtedly stylish. So shop, see art, eat well and sip a cocktail or two at these travel destinations. We look at three of the newest of such spots for shopaholics and foodies alike.

1. Thomas’s at Burberry Regent Street boutique, London

The store is also the perfect spot to do your souvenir shopping. At this boutique’s gifting section, get to personalise stationery, luggage tags, passport covers and more items with handsewn embroidery and leather embossed detail and other customisable options.

2. Bar Luce at Fondazione Prada, Milan

If you ever dreamt of living within a Wes Anderson film, Bar Luce might be the closest that you’ll get. Located within the Fondazione Prada museum, the film director himself was the creative mind behind this cafe and bar’s look and feel. It’s a place where Wes Anderson himself would enjoy “(his) own non-fictional afternoons in.”

So of course it has retro-tinged formica furniture, pinball machines; the Wes Anderson fan will have a field day spotting all of the film references. For the rest of us, we’ll just love to sit back and relax while sipping a coffee or a mojito or two.

3. Dior Cafe at the Dior flagship store, Seoul
Set to officially open soon as part of the new Dior flagship store in Seoul, this cafe will be run by French patisserie Pierre Hermé. So you can have your fill of all the macarons and cakes, after you’ve done your tour and shopping spree around the store. Don’t miss out on the items exclusive to the store either, which include this very adorable Tiger keychain

Do however, keep in mind the current MERS-CoV (Middle East Respiratory Coronavirus) travel advisory for South Korea from the Ministry of Health and to save this cafe visit for another time.
