November 7, 2013 update: What was to be the biggest K-pop concert in Singapore on November 16, 2013 – the 2013 MBC Korean Music Wave – has been cancelled.
The lineup had been a K-pop fan’s dream come true with acts like SHINee, TEEN TOP, B1A4, B.A.P, 2PM, 2AM, F.T. Island, EXO, IU, SISTAR, KARA, miss A, and 4minute scheduled to perform and members of Girls’ Generation TaeTiSeo announced as hosts.
But less than two weeks before the event, the organiser Fatfish Entertainment announced on their Facebook page that “MBC Korean Music Wave in Singapore 2013 has been canceled due to unforeseen circumstances including contractual difficulties with our co-producer, MBC”.

August 20, 2013: K-pop fans in Singapore will have to mark November 16, 2013, down in their diaries as 13 of K-pop’s biggest and hottest acts will be landing in Singapore for the largest ever multi-band K-pop concert in Singapore! The 2013 MBC Korean Music Wave concert will take place at Gardens by the Bay.

The exciting line-up includes SHINee, EXO, 2PM, 2AM, B1A4, TeenTop, B.A.P, F.T. Island, Kara, Sistar, Miss A, 4Minute and IU. Plus, there’s a surprise in store for fans as mystery Korean stars are set to be the MCs for the concert. This is the first time this many K-pop acts have performed on the same stage in Singapore and is definitely a must for all diehard fans.
