Amid the bustle of job seekers and career booths at the SPH Career Expo over the weekend, a wisdom-filled mid-point check-in for the Her World Mentorship Programme 2026 took place.
Mentors and mentees gathered at the Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention for an afternoon of catching up, learning and meaningful conversations. The event was supported by our official beauty partner, Clé de Peau Beauté and Singtel.
The afternoon opened with an address by Her World’s deputy editor, Sophie Hong, circling back to this year’s Mentorship Programme’s focus: first time and new managers; how to navigate new responsibilities, new teams, and uncertainty.
At the event, a thought-provoking panel discussion took place, moderated by Her World’s editor-in-chief, Elizabeth Lee. And this session’s topic: How can women harness artificial intelligence (AI) to lead with greater confidence and impact in the workplace?
The star-studded line up of panellists included Pat Law, founder of social marketing agency GOODSTUPH, Crystal-Lim Lange, CEO of leadership consultancy Forest Wolf, founder of Deep Human Club and two-time LinkedIn Top Voice, as well as Rae Nah, Head of Customer Experience at Singtel Singapore.
During the conversation, panellists shared their words of wisdom on how they use AI for their jobs, and how to not lose that human touch as AI gets more integrated into our workflow. Mentors, mentees and attendees of the panel had a chance to ask their own questions, gleaning insight on how organisations use AI in the hiring process and how to stand out as an applicant today.
The panellists concluded by sharing their valuable advice:
After the panel, mentors and mentees had the opportunity to network and mingle over food and drinks, further setting the tone for a fruitful rest of the programme.
