Empowering women has always been at the heart of Her World’s mission.

And while women have made strident gains in the workplace today, there’s no denying that the path to success is never smooth. But there is a tool that many successful women (and men) swear by: the power of mentorship. Even the likes of Oprah Winfrey, Michelle Obama and Mindy Kaling have credited their mentors for inspiring them.

In an international study by global leadership consulting firm DDI World, 67 per cent of the 318 business women surveyed rated mentorship as highly important in helping to advance and grow their careers.

In a world where talent is everywhere but opportunity isn’t, mentors can provide guidance and support, cultivate confidence, and share their knowledge to help foster growth in a positive direction.

Mentorship matters, especially for women.

This is why Her World is launching its first-ever mentorship programme. At its core, the inaugural programme connects mentees with influential women who are leaders in their respective fields. Besides professional development, one stands to build valuable connections as well as gain professional insight and female support from this peer community. Whether you’re just starting out or at a crossroads in your career, Her World wants to be a part of your journey, and empower you with the right tools and access so you can chart your flight to success.
