Working from home, or any location besides the office, may have only become the norm over the last two years, but there are companies that have been operating as 100% distributed teams (i.e. team is distributed around the world and working remotely) from day one.

Daniel has been running distributed teams for 7 to 8 years now, and also helps other employers build and structure distributed teams at his consulting firm, Oasis Interactive Design.
