32 year-old actor/singer/jewellery designer Van Ness Wu was the first to kick off MTV Sessions, a new locally-produced show to be broadcast Asia-wide. The show kicked off with a sexy version of Katy Perry’s E.T., followed by a mix of Mandarin, Korean and English songs. The highlight was Knockin’, a collaboration with It-music maker Bruno Mars that sounded as good stripped down as it did on his album C’est La V.
MTV Sessions with Van Ness Wu airs on Jan 1, 2012 on MTV SEA (Starhub Cable Channel 533) at 6pm.
