There’s been an uptick in gyms in Singapore. Now that the Covid-19 regulations have been easing up in Singapore, more gyms have opened across the island. And that’s great news for fitness fanatics and newbies looking to get their groove back after enduring several lockdowns.
Plus these gyms are offering more than just your run-of-the-mill weights and classes. They’re pioneering fun and engaging workouts that we think will help ease you back into working out regularly.
So if you’re looking out for a new fitness studio to try, consider these options.
If you haven’t heard about GRITYARD, then it’s about time you should. Founded by former national athletes, Lim Yao Xiang, Lim Yao Peng and Chong Nyen, GRITYARD is based on delivering fun yet effective functional group workouts that are made for all fitness levels.
Here, the programmes are designed on the five pillars of human body functional output which include Strength, Power, Agility, Core, and Endurance. In fact, we managed to try one of the programmes out ourselves and we have to say that even the simplest workout can be quite challenging — but who doesn’t like a challenge right?
After having opened its first outlet in Outram, GRITYARD has recently launched its second outlet located in the heart of CBD, over at Cecil Street. Now, if you’re an office-goer or you’re always in the area, then this place is well worth signing up for if you’re looking for a fitness studio that will get you in tip-top shape.
Currently, GRITYARD is offering a 7-day unlimited pass for $35, as well as other class packages that range from single to ten sessions — or if you’re up for it, you can also sign up for their 20 or 40 session package.
