Bubble tea to bingsu: Wedding food stations your guests will go wild over
Judging by the snaking queues at major and new bubble tea stores, a bubble tea live station will be a definite hit at your wedding – you’ll even find a brown sugar milk offering from Icy Treats (left).
Donuts are a hit at weddings but here’s another delicious doughy option: its Spanish counterpart, churros. Crisp on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside, these can be dipped in different sauces and toppings (think chocolate, Oreo, crushed nuts and cinnamon) for a yummy post-dinner treat.
The smell of fries wafting over will be more than enough to get your friends and family making a beeline for the station. Take it up a notch with options like truffle fries, cheese fries and seaweed fries.
We don’t know too many Singaporeans who’ll say no to this local favourite. Include a prata man (or woman) who’ll flip and serve the prata piping hot, plus delicious curries, to literally spice up your wedding menu game.
Burgers are a crowd favourite and depending on the ingredients and set-up you choose, are great for both laid-back or more formal celebrations. Better yet, let your guests have fun making their own with a burger bar.
