Changi Airport’s newest terminal, T4, which opened last week on Oct 31, may be the smallest terminal but it is big on its interactive features as we found out yesterday (Nov 7) on a media tour of the newly minted airport.
The 225,000 sq m terminal has a capacity for 16 million passengers at a time. Nine airlines – the Air Asia Group (four airlines), Cathay Pacific, Cebu Pacific, Korean Air, Spring Airlines and Vietnam Airlines – are currently operating at T4 and more airlines are currently in talks with the Changi Airport Group to join the new terminal.
Designed with a heritage theme in mind, a petal motif inspired by an orchid petal is applied to many locations within the terminal such as carpets and dustbins. T4 is also equipped with interactive zones for all ages to enjoy while waiting for their flight.
Here’s the best part: Most of them are free and we let you in on eight fun things you can do at T4 without paying a single cent. Read on to find out more.
