Hotel YAN
custom

This charming boutique hotel is for the budget barbies (with their early bird deals, single loft rooms are priced from $95.83 per night!).

Unlike the other hotels in this roundup which are located smack in the hustle and bustle of town, this one is located between Kampong Glam and Little India, so exploring the surroundings will give you quite a different — but equally rich — taste of our city-state.

It doesn’t have a pool or much in-house entertainment, but the cosy industrial-chic concept (picture this: neutral, dark tones, dim lighting, and raw, gritty surfaces) makes a great photo op, and an even greater place to laze with your BFFs, just relaxing and chatting the weekend away. Just remember not to meet in groups of more than five!

Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa
custom

This might hurt your wallet a little (deals from $380 per night), but if you’re craving to get away from the city and to soak up some sun, it’s a worthy trade-off.

The luxurious resort getaway will have you completely recharged by the time you return to real life — dine atop a cliff with a view of the South China Sea, or go for a spa retreat at the in-house Sofitel Spa and allow their expert therapists and aestheticians to knead and prod away every ounce of stress.

Beach bums can soak up the sand, sun and surf, while those who crave a more active itinerary can explore the island’s nooks and crannies. Either way, this getaway will be completely rejuvenating, and escaping from the mainland might even help you feel like you’re overseas.

Oasia Hotel Downtown
custom

This midrange staycay (deals from $172 per night) is located conveniently in the Central Business District, so you have all the local attractions a stone’s throw away.

You may recognise this hotel from it’s iconic green facade, with plants creeping across its exterior, designed by renowned architect and designer Patricia Urquiola. The tropical building is designed to be a respite from the hustle and bustle of the concrete jungle in town.

A respite it is, and best of all, it’s completely Instagram-worthy.

Marina Bay Sands Singapore
custom

While on the pricier side (deals are from $339 per night), this luxury stay is a classic.

The iconic hotel is perfect for a romantic getaway. It’s connected to The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, so you can shop a plethora of luxury brands and go for a sampan ride along the indoor river (or if you use your imagination — a gondola ride through the Venetian canals!).

When you start getting peckish, go for an indulgent meal at Black Tap Singapore (monster shakes and juicy burgers galore), and unwind with dessert at Angelina Singapore.

When you’re tired, head back to the hotel and kick back at the infinity pool with bae, overlooking the city’s twinkling skyline lit up at night. Ah… romance at its finest.
