6 ala carte buffets you can enjoy in Singapore

Heading out for a cheat meal this weekend? Check out one of these lip-smacking a la carte buffets that are also pocket-friendly

by GERALYNE ONG  /   June 18, 2022

Like most self-professed foodies in Singapore, the one thing that made everything feel better during the pandemic is the fact that you could get your favourite food delivered from your preferred restaurant, cafe or hawker.

Great as that was and still is, sometimes all you really want is to dine out and have the option of unlimited servings of sashimi, grilled beef or sizzling pork belly.

Thankfully, that desire can now be a reality as Covid-19 restrictions in Singapore are gradually eased.

International buffets may be back on the menu, but they are usually more expensive than a la carte buffets, due to the location and menu spread.

So, whatever your food cravings may be, satisfy them at one of these 6 a la carte restaurants the next time you head out with your family or friends.

Last updated on 11 June 2022. A la carte buffet prices and promotions are subject to change without prior notice. Due to the ever-evolving COVID-19 situation, some restaurants listed in this article may not be serving a la carte buffets at the moment. Be sure to contact the restaurant directly to inquire.

Additionally, the minimum spend required for lunch and dinner buffets at Mitsuba are $20 and $40 respectively.

You can also check out their happy hour menu for housepour spirits ($10++ per shot), wines ($8++ per glass), cocktails (from $12 per glass), and other refreshingly intoxicating concoctions.

Don Dae Bak
image

Put on your stretchy pants and treat yourself to Don Dae Bak’s ala-carte buffet that offers unlimited servings of beef, chicken and pork, fresh vegetables, Korean appetisers and fluffy steamed egg.

Some of their signature dishes include boneless prime rib, beef brisket, marinated and herb wine pork belly, kimchi pancake, hot-stone bibimbap, ginseng chicken soup and many more.

Dishes here are all freshly prepared (or inspected) by the ahjumma (a respectful Korean word for a married, or a middle-aged woman) herself, so rest assured that your Korean food needs will be well taken care of.

However, what sets them apart from other KBBQ restaurants would be their 100% traditional Korean charcoal grill used to cook your chicken, pork and beef to perfection.

Price: $29.90 ++ (Adult) | $19.90++ (Child)
Tel: +65 6226 1727
